Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for GDA.GDA Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 477 amino acids (1-454) and having a molecular mass of 53kDa.GDA is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Application Note:
Specific activity is > 2,000 pmol/min/ug, and is defined as the amount of enzyme that convert guanine to xanthine per minute at pH 8.0 at 37°C.
